It can't be an advert as it's in "Marketplace discussion".

What's it worth? No idea, without pics and proper description :)

I'm guessing if anyone is serious about wanting a 2.2S and has £200K plus then there's a number to call in the initial post

Well it kind of an advert but it's not mine and not Nick's either as i don't think he'll be handling the sale.

But it is a serious committed seller who simply asked a few people if they knew of anyone who was in the market for such a car.

I was happy to pass that message on. As I said, if I was in the market for a high end RHD 2.2S I'd want to know about this car.

My apologies that this has caused so much angst!

The seller may well decide at some point to consign the car with a top dealer or indeed place an advert.......

.......I hope he does just to keep everyone happy! :)

Cheers,

Berny thought he was just mentioning a friend's car coming up for sale too.

Someone best tell him he needs to post his ad in an appropriate manner! .......

I've got no issue with it - I like to keep actual adverts factual, with pic, price etc. but if somebody is saying they no of something available and it's not theirs then viewers are free to pursue a car they may not have heard anything about

Not sure yet but probably not - planning on doing the Wild Atlantic Way (west coast of Ireland) - or part of it - in September in the 356.

This is NOT an ADVERT
LHD 2.2 S
1970 MY
California Delivery
Lovely Colour ( might be Pastel Blue or maybe not)
All original panels except for left rear quarter and outer sills
Bare metal Repaint
All original bright trim
All original interior except dash top and headlining
Full suspension refurbishment and set up by a well known company begining with A.
Cheaper than the other one by around £30K
Contact "Stretch" who might not be handling the sale.
No pictures as this is not an advert just part of a discussion on the current market.
If history serves this post will be deleted or the thread locked.

Had an offer on one of my cars today that was actually advertised for sale but really wasn't.

Now not sure if it is for sale, sold or not for sale.

Can someone suggest who I can ring who isn't dealing with the sale of my car to find out if I should sell or not.
