I binge watched your build today. Top efforts - and what a lot of body prep - bless, it had had a tough life up til this point hadn't it. Colour looks great btw - I do like an orange widebody (except for trump) Jason's on here and Russ' previous car both look great in that colour.
So - what about the engine? When do you reveal the specs for a 280-300hp high butterfly snorter?
Looking forward to further updates...

Finally done editing the latest video. This week I have been busy painting stripes. Some of you may not like the colour choice, but I think it works. Have a look and let me know what you think.

The engine will be a nice warm 2.7. I don't want to go crazy, because this car is being done on a budget, but also I want it to be reliable, as I am going to drive the tyres off this thing

Stripes are good imho, like the side scripts in particular.
Great progress.

Hi Jeff, been watching your Youtube channel for a while and just wanted to say what an amazing job you're doing. Love what your doing with the Porsche, showing great skills and style. For me the color choices you've made are great and loving the graphics treatment. Great intro music for the vids by the way!

Haha. I thought people would be well and truly sick of my music by now. I keep recycling the same free tracks. I did take the "1,2,3,4 Clap your hands" out of rotation though

I have been busy getting stuck into painting the roll cage, and doing the final flow coat of the car this week. Once all of the painting is finished I will tear down the booth and get stuck into the engine.
As for the engine, the guys at Performance Developments in LA have reached out to me and they want to help out with building a special engine for this project. I still need some parts.
If anyone has an aluminium case, later model heads, cam decks or cam covers for a reasonable price, let me know. They can be in the US or Aus (or anywhere in the world for that matter). You would really be helping out to make this build something special.
Thanks guys, here is the video.
Jeff.

Well I have been busy again this week and I have chopped the car back AGAIN, and flow coated it AGAIN, but this time I have a much better result. I am very happy with the way it has come out and although it will not win any car show awards, it is not too bad.

Nice one Jeff - I'm loving the purple bars. Congrats on getting the paint done, it looks really good. Just ready for you to scratch it during reassembly

Ask me how I know.....
Be cool if you can get Performance Developments to build a badass engine for the car. Good luck with your parts search.

Thanks mate. The parts hunt is still on, no luck as yet. I have been offered some 2.7 parts which is what I already have, so that doesn't really help me.
Fingers crossed I don't scratch it, but I am a clutz so I probably will

I watched all the videos in one hit the other day, great stuff! I love the way you make applying and flatting the filler look so easy. We all know that's where the skill and time sits. Excellent job.

Haha, not really skill, just blind determination on my part
