Think that might be perfect for a winter refurb project.....

Sorry Jonathan - should have mentioned they use a special gun to apply (with a compressed air supply). Gun looks like a schultz gun, but isn't. About £30 I think unless you can borrow one (like I did)

When I removed the tank, the seal showed signs of it being installed with one layer of paper being left on. Any tips as to whether to stick the seal to the tank or the body first? Also do you leave the paper on to make installation easier or is it an important part of the stability of the tank given it is only held in by three clamps
