They're ford Rangers mate. You can't buy f150 in the UK from ford . They're far too thirsty for UK customers

I work for a ford dealer hence the abundance of fords about

The ranger sells well, we can never get enough of them in stock

Adapted a set of the Aircooled Accessories stainless headlight grilles to work on my lights


Interior now sorted with a red square weave caret set - just got to make u some new door cards

Can I ask where you got the square weave carpet from? Did you find it straight forward to install?

I bought the carpet kit off the classifieds on DDK from a chap who bought it and never fitted it.

HE bought it originally from eBay USA - link below

It fitted really nicely - you just have to plan ahead and understand what order the pieces need to be installed in.
I replaced all of the factory sound deadening with modern materials etc.... and fitted the new carpet throughout the course of a day and a half i think whilst messing around with other stuff.

Although for a later model - LAKEWELL have a pretty helpful video on youtube as to how to install a carpet set.

The other thing to mention is that although not advertised anywhere - Fenn Lane Motorsport do make carpet sets in both perlon and square weave.
I have seen them in the flesh and they are VERY nice quality and really good value for money. if interested in those contact user id - fetuhoe on here or call Fenn Lane on 01455 213998 or http://www.fennlane.co.uk
Only reason I didn't go for one of those was I picked up a "deal" on here - right place right time and all that......

I will certainly make enquiries to Fenn Lane about the Perlon and the square weave (I know I should really go Perlon for my 68 but do like the square weave!)

been toying around with this lately - so follow us on Facebook to see if we actually end up making it

bit of an update on the past few weeks work.

Did yet ANOTHER 4 wheel laser alignment after replacing the rear torsion arm bushes due to the Neatrix ones I initially used being quite frankly shite - replaced with proper Porsche rubber ones - sooooooo much nicer ride and squeak free now
It's so handy having a Hunter aligner at work!



rebuilt the pedal box - new bushes etc... and a lick of paint - forgot to taker an "after" picture - but here is the before



Fitted one of the new Fenn Lane Motorsport throttle pedals from user Fetuhoe on here - also picked up a dead pedal / foot rest from them too which is pretty handy so I'm no longer messing up my new carpet! The pedal is really a top bit of work! check them out in the traders for sale area



Got the front hood re-painted by a mate to take care of some paint "crazing" - not concours quality job - but certainly driver quality - and nicely blends in with the rest of the "old" paint job.




With the new painted bonnet I could now "loose" the racing stripes I'd applied to cover the paint issues. So I also took the opportunity to loose the racing circles on the doors and am just having a "play" around with some home made "PORSCHE" side stripe decals. Not convinced myself yet if I'm liking them or not - but they can stay on for the while I guess - the beauty of vinyl!



Other than that I've just been driving it and trying to fine tune the carbs / ignition system as best I can with a "home brewed" exhaust sniffer / wideband sensor setup swiped off my camper van
