Hi Jeremy, I'm carrying out the metalwork on the cabriolet, Graham has kindly posted some pics of metalwork process, yes the door bottom is fully welded all the way along, but in such a way it's dressed, panel beated and sanded (not body filed, as the metal is only 1mm thickness) that it needs no filler or lead, just the primers from the paint process.

Previous damage, poor repair and major damage to inner wing not touched, so quarter section cut out, repaired to keep it original as possible.

As a newbie on here, would be nice to have a bit of feedback on the projects I post, can add more pics of detail or is it boring old stuff!

Not sure I've ever seen a repair made by an English Wheel that way, interesting.
Impressed the shop can rescue this and keep the body straight.

Restorations are always interesting in DDK, fearless work.

Must be very rewarding to achieve this rather than spend spend spend on new.

The impact had pushed the corner down 25mm, jacked back up to correct position and bracket fitted.
