Water Pumpers LOL.. yeah well it's got to be tried I guess... I'm now hunting for more in the US at the mo.. Even darker side!! yanks! Merc going, 1 912 going , my daily 944 in paint and going, VW Camper gone! Skoda going. I almost got one 912 of ever year but there's more to life than Porsche as I have found out eventually. Buying a FB Mustang off a fellow 12 owner in the US. Let the V8 roar be heard !! LOL.. will make the school run more interesting

Buy the Clymer manual, its awesome, has all that you need to repair the car and the factory owners manual is re-done in there. Brilliant car, where does the exhaust come from ? I want one for mine.

The exhaust was handmade by Tim on this forum. It's certainly a nice bit of kit, the welding is beautiful and it sounds amazing.

Don't know I'm afraid although I'm sure somebody does?!
Took the old girl to the Slough VW Swapmeet on Sunday, not the best day for weather but lots of great VW's there and I managed to pick up a new headlamp glass.

Sorry I missed you, I saw you drive in but we couldn't stop long unfortunately. Hope to catch you another time.

Thanks, it is amazing to drive given the little motor - keeping it lightweight makes a big difference.

Great thinking, i couldn't believe how heavy just the seats are! I was really chuffed to dig a pr of 67 911s seats out that i'd been hanging onto for years, now considering not using them, also have the standard 70's f/glass front bumper upgrade which may well stay..

Now sporting a Talbot Berlin mirror which means I can actually see things behind me from the low down seats.
Seat runners have arrived from Rennsport so ready to fit the new seats.
Still need to sort the wheels, or at least decide on tyres for the wheels.

Haha don't have too high expectations! I'm looking forward to meeting some DDK'ers too.
Am booked in with Max to get the ride height at the front sorted as well as a few other bits and pieces. Have a long list of jobs for the next two weeks whilst in the UK including seats, wheels and tyres, radio and do what I can with some of the panel fitment.
Roll on May..
