It's a great image for sure. I think he'd have missed it tho', esp as he drove home. C'mon Nick, that'll be a cool avatar pic 8)

Looked like a great day out, hopefully next year I'll have something to take along to join in the fun. :)
Haha... I do look a bit worried! But he sure knows how to drive 'em as well as build 'em. :)

Next year Darren? There must be another to do this year!
Plenty of use on fast twisty roads, yes although don't think I have stomach to track the E straight off and sadly the 993 will soon be up for sale - I'll have to wait for my Mongrel, that's what it's being built for! 8)

I know it's been talked about before but made me think again about a DDK Track Day
This should our annual DDK Treffen - how cool would that be! 8) 8) 8)

I organised a DDK trackday many years ago up at Elvington. It was difficult to get enough people to commit . Think we ended up running it with around 20 cars.

Even the PCGB classic Porsche trackday at Silverstone struggled. Think its best to try & tag it on with another clubs trackday

Donnington used to track days with 3, 20 minute slots rotated over the day. A club could then book exclusive use of a 20 minute slot.
Might be an option ! or as James, PMJT and myself did many years ago, tagged along with others at a track day.

James, thought I remembered reading something about a DDK day in the past... and the PCGB days are too expensive, esp at Silverstone! The smaller circuits & events are more interesting to me.

Tim, that's probably the best way, maybe even block booking places... I'd be interested in going as a small group to the right day at the right place.

Will see what's coming up later this year :bounce:

Great reportage Nigel. Some wonderful pics. :)

I'd have gone along but me and the noise police have previous at Castle Combe.
They seem to delight in enforcing the volumes and blocking your fun.
No point going on a 100db day, I'd never get on track. :(

Tis a shame because Richard's track days are generally very good.

Yes. I believe John sold it last year.
