limited slip diff

The guards diffs are very good quality. In fact the clutch discs are better than the zf part and are an upgrade when fitted to ZF diffs.

wish i'd known that when i rebuilt my zf :(
having said that the porsche clutches are an upgrade over the standard zf ones bmw use anyway (sintered vs. moly)

i do actually need an LSD Robert

but was planning on using a Kaaz type

i'm not technical enough to understand why this is better or in what way different??

Hi Dan, I'm probably not the best-qualified to answer - all I can say is that the GT diffs are well-made, have a similar mode of operation to the ZF diff and are adjustable. The ZFs are hard to find now - particularly for this application - and my thinking was that the GT diff is in many ways the next best thing. I hope that helps? Best wishes, Robert
