love the sound of this ...a proper adventure

and I do admire your balls to do it...personally I was nervous my first drive was 200 miles

there was a great thread on pelican (probably a few) about such trips. key seemed to be a sensible toolkit and common spares and knowing where porsche specialists might be on your route

if you post on there, you'll get a lot of route suggestions top tips etc. and probably some people who want to buy you a beer!
