Good point... and no.

Interesting conumdrum tho`... If not black (and all the primrose yellow E Types you`ll ever see have black hides).. what would look good ?

Violet, purple, plum... call it what you like... is on reflection, only one idea, so I consulted the oracle (Mrs Mycar) and she said `Houndstooth` and I said `Ooh I don`t know about that.`

`Yellow and black houndstooth` she expanded.. and she might have a point but I don`t know how early, Houndsteeth were used by Porsche.

This is a good look I think... maybe something with the leather. I`m fairly sure I`ve seen a yellow houndstooth before ???

And then, getting into her stride, Mrs. M suggested Tartan. Now I know we`ve been here before but the right yellow and black tarten might be just the ticket... it needs to be just right, right colour, right cloth... but it might look quite swish.

Is there some sort of historical reference for what is correct for the 50`s cars... maybe Der whites has something ??

Black?

I wouldn't. It is a pain (literally) on a hot sunny day.

Mid grey....

example? (993 GT2)

Dark Grey
Dark Grey with Stone cord inserts
