The garage took the engine apart today :(
Metal bits in the oil.
Engine broken, Totalheadturners are phoning me on Wednesday to see how the repair is going, heres hoping they foot the bill, we will all know where to buy our cars from then

Its a 1600 twin port only done 12000 miles so I was told. Part of the reason for buying it ( low miles normally means no problems) I was also told it was factory built. Chesil dont think it was! No official warranty with the car but The big boss man from Total Headturners is back off his holidays on wednesday and his partner tells me all should be ok for me :? I am hoping he is right.

Hope they sort it for you and foot the bill... Would be a shame to be off the road just when the weather is breaking.

Hi Steve sorry to hear I had the same problem last year. My car was off the road from Easter till October I hope your gets sorted quicker than mine! Good luck with getting it sorted

On the positive side, a stock 1600 will be pretty cheap ( relatively ;) ) to fully rebuild .... ie , the supplying garage shouldn't complain about remdial work costs if you push them on the warrenty side of things
