Was it ever actually called a Super Sport though?

m491 was 'turbo look' and I thought the latter ones were just designated as 911 Carrera SSE (which people 'presumed' to be Super Sport Equiptment).

I remember years ago there was an ongoing debate as to whether the factory ever called them Supersports!

I remember the donor car being bought. It was a factory widebody. I thought that meant Supersport. Reason I remember is that it was a really nice car in 80s red and I thought shame it's not staying standard.

For sixty grand, I'd prefer the original supersport AND a 993turbo!

I suggest anyone interested give it a test drive. You'll see where the money went. 60k sounds like a lot but you making one hell of a saving compared to spec'ing it new.

It starts on the button every time, stops on a dime, blisteringly fast yet great MPG. It cherry picks modern advances and classic appeal mixes them together to maximise the ownership enjoyment.

I take pride in owning all of my cars and I've owned 911's for a long time. Tuthills have extensively gone through this car you're welcome to call and ask them about it.

I can see there's some inaccuracy's in the blurb. Nick Whale knows the full details of the car I'm guessing he wrote it quickly. I know how harsh internet forums can be, however the car stands on its merits any doubters I suggest go have a look.
