A number of cars have made more than 80, more than one over 90, but since no two are alike it all means very little unless you've fully inspected each one.
To add a little balance, I offered Mr Moss an MoTd 73 S last week at 7k. It wasn't cheap enough for him.
The blue car is comfortably up there with some that have sold higher than 80k but it'll be sold for less. Other dealers would definitely want more, but we need to shift it quick to buy a better camera and some photography lessons.

I find the waffle slightly disconcerting... the reference to the 7K 73S, confusing. As a trader you slipped the taster into this thread..

...but are skirting around giving the car a price. I would say that, for this type of car, DDk gives you the best shop window on the planet.
So how much is it ?

Agreed: if the car was in the For Sale section it is a requirement.
In effect the forum is being used in the same way by that reference (my personal viewpoint), so a price would be very welcome, or do you need some sort of 'ability to pay' references to arrive at the correct price for each customer? Means tested pricing perhaps?
Actually, that bodes well for me: on the above basis I may be able to help rein in 2.4S prices.
Three years accounts enough to arrive at a price Sam?

Just me being flippant, nothing more sinister
The truth is we haven't decided.
Like a lot of nicely restored cars it's all there, but there are details we'd have done differently. I don't consider them significant enough to deal with on this car, but Paul wakes up in cold sweats over incorrectly textured spare wheel wells, 7 inch rears and missing blacking from the door insides.
What it's worth will be determined by whether we spend a bit of time putting these potentially insignificant but time-consuming details to factory spec or leave it as is. Clearly if someone is interested in the meantime they can decide themselves how far to go.
It looks like I can only pay my £15 and pop a proper ad up once the decision is made. Hopefully no one will expire from tingling anticipation in the meantime.
