epoch get that car out even if its raining!

There is a good way into porsche centre missing most traffic by coming through from avonmouth,small road that brings you out on the roundabout of cribs,most traffic backs up the motorway junctions

Thanks Paul, I was worried that I would spend most of the day in a traffic jam, that sounds a far better route!

You're right I know...I haven't seen it since June of 2008 so every opportunity to blast it up the motorway should be taken!

Reckon I'll be there early

I'm coming down from the North so looking at the map I really just have to get to J17 - early for me to avoid the shoppers, but getting home should be fine as going against the flow.

See you all there.

Their website confirms this is still on, and the weather looks dry and not too foggy, so I will be there in the morning - see you there.

=============================================

Porsche Centre Bristol are delighted to invite you and your family to celebrate a history of Porsche RS models - from the 911 R to the latest 911 GT3 RS. Porsche Centre Bristol is dedicating a whole day, Saturday 12 December, to celebrate Porsche's Renn Sport, or RS, designation.

Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to explore the entire Porsche RS model line-up including the 911 R, 2.7 RS, 2.8 RSR, 3.0 RS and RSR, 964 RS, 993 RS, 996 GT3 RS, 997 GT3 RS and the latest generation 911 (Type 997) GT3 RS which doesn't go on sale until February 2010. The second generation 911 (Type 997) GT3 RS is the latest incarnation to bear the RS designation and includes significant enhancements over its predecessor including a new intake system which adds 15 hp to the engine, a single mass flywheel, a titanium exhaust and a shorter gear ratio on all six gears.

As part of the RS celebrations, complimentary Winter Checks on your Porsche can be booked up in advance. Whilst this is being carried out you are invited to take advantage of our Drop and Shop facility where we will transport you to and from the excitement of the Winter Wonderland at the Mall for some retail therapy.

Feel free to pop in any time during the day but please note that spaces for the complimentary Winter Check and Shop are limited and available on a first come, first served basis - to book an appointment or for further information please call us on 01179 002 911.

What a marvelous day. Respect to Porsche Centre Bristol for putting on an excellent show. It was low key with no 'selling', just a very relaxed, informal meeting of like minded enthusiasts.
There were racers, restorers, retailers, respected writers and raconteurs (well, Vic). And plenty of wonderful cars.
Here's a taste....
