ok I couldn't help but take the pi55 alittle over there so very funny....... I just knew they would take legal action .....such...... Any way I think the guy should remove the badge and change the words any suggestions.....
what are they going to do sue him for the use of the font... they left it there.
Any way typical I am going to tell teacher style attitude over there as normal that's why it's so cr*p over there.

That cannot be for real! They'll be getting the 'Minister for Trademarks' involved next!
Perhaps Porsche will withdraw their official support and give it to us instead?!

Sadly, I saw this at Rockingham about 2 years ago at the CART race. It looked tatty then.
I mentioned it to a board member soon after but evidently nothing was done.
I hesitate to ask, but why don't you post the pictures on the PCGB forum - so that the board can see how bad it looks?
I'm pretty p*ssed off as a member that this is being trotted round to shows with the PCGB logo's on.

We have Mark, there's a vibrant thread on there. Maybe they'll do something about it this time. I mean what well run business/organisation (I forget which one it is these days) sells on any vehicle without first removing their branding.

Peter Branch wrote on the PCGB forum [QUOTE]
Unfortunately Helen when things like this happen, (we can all agree that they should not happen), then there is no alternative but to sort it out and, this is the key point, to be seen publicly and to have irrefutable evidence that PCGB have spared no effort to immediately remedy the situation. Michael is giving good advice.
If someone went to court and claimed that PCGB knew its trademarks and those of Porsche AG were being infringed, (the evidence that PCGB knew is now all around us), and either PCGB did nothing or just had an informal chat with some bloke on a Fair Ground then there is a very real possibility that we would loose the protection and the privileges we current enjoy. Trade mark protection is a never ending war even if you don’t make mistakes. If you do then it beholds you to pay up and get it sorted and that means quickly, formally and professionally. It will cost money. [UN-QUOTE]
ok but why pick on me?? im not the only one whos spoken up on this subject, why am i always singled out as the bad guy
i would have thought a quite word with the chap would sort out this problem if they insist on making a big issue over it they are just going to bring it to everyone attention what dickheads they were selling it on with the stickers still in place and as i have said it will cost the club ££ for their trouble.

Take another look Helen - you will see that people are backing you up.
I don't think they are picking on you. Just having a discussion.
Personally, I think having a word is the first step, then the legal letter thing.
Then maybe sending Big Ron over...
Sadly the damage that has been done to the club will have to be written off to experience...
