Interesting question and not one that has turned up a definitive answer. It is a subject I have seriously gone into in great depth for obvious reasons. There is no trace on either the DVLA or in Ian Mc's database of three cars with the number plates LYV 9D, 10D and 11D. If anyone can prove this wrong I would like to see the evidence. According to both lists there were only two cars, Philip's and LYV 11D (which has now been scrapped). I can not find any evidence of there ever being a car with LYD 9D anywhere(although there have been several articles claiming it did). There were only 6 RHD 67S cars manufactured and imported by AFN between August and December 1966 and it appears that at least three (possibly four) do not exist anymore.
Anyone out there with info on the existence of LYV 9D?

Just out of interest, i've just sold LYL 2D ( rhd coupe) to Mick Pacey at
Export 56.
Needs full resto and I believe its going to PCGB when finished.

Do we know how many went to other RHD markets and if there is an earlier car in 'the colonys?'

I presume this was an 'n' 130bhp, not an 'S'?

That makes 2 of us. Philip thats an unbelievable price. Have you advertised it anywhere else or is this another of your for sale without telling anyone its for sale so no-one buys it cars

She's been advertised on the DDK and on the Early 911S' - I wanted to give passionata a chance first
Going to put the advert on Classic Cars, Pistonheads etc over the weekend.
I'm also surprised, given the initial flurry of interest, that she hasn't sold - hey ho - no rush

I'm astounded!
I don't know who the snapper for that picture was - they were part of the Total 911 shoot done in late 2005 (from memory). The image was used (just like this) on the front cover of Octane in 2007 so either someone got it from there OR it's the original snapper who's after a few quid.
Either way, think I'll have to invest in both to remind me when she's gone
