Don't we all! I just find that paying by the hour plus the surcharges for 'special services' requires a fatter wallet than it used to.

I intended/started to keep a track of both the cost and hours I am spending on my resto. I gave up for 2 reasons, I simply could not be bothered with the paperwork, the bills for parts are a roughly chronological file(heap) and the hours beyond counting. Having said that, I am a long way through the body, hopefully going to paint later this year. I do take picture from time to time.
What I am doing is enjoying every moment and dying to drive the thing, I have only wanted one since 1969, when I saw them racing at Snetterton.
I dont think you can put a price or value on something like this.
