well it will take the car up so that i can almost stand underneith it.....BUT we are unable to use it at that height inside our garage due to roof rafters.
but its quite workable. it has the advantage over other lifts we looked at in that you can get at almost the entire underneith of the car.
its not as movable as the advert would have you believe. as they are VERY heavy. and for low slung cars we have to use ramps & planks else you can't drive the car over the lift.
