How reliable is a COA?

Built towards the end of 1971 but definitely a '72 model

Thats what I thought but the COA says May 1972 delivered June 1972.....

The COA is not worth the paper its printed on! :roll:

was this COA from Porsche US or from Germany ? I got mine from Germany via Porsche Reading.

Once I had paid for mine , I went back to them a number of time to get information they hadn't supplied ... but it was all accurate & the UK lot were very helpful.

Rich - the problem is that models weren't always pulled off the production line in strict sequence.

It could be that your car was held up at the Factory for completion to a particular specification (including hydro-pneumatic struts - anything is possible) - but it seems unlikely (but not impossible) that it would still be there in May '72.
