Bought our 911 from america via ebay when the exchange rate was good.

My "Continental" came out of Hawaii. I simply contacted the head of the Porsche Club in Hawaii and asked if someone could look at the car for me. He told me that he knew the car and that it was being fairly represented.
I'd suggest you do the same.
