Hi,

A few people have asked how this car was coming along.
We have now finished painting the shell the original colour Ivory White and today we started to re-fit the shell.

I personally think the colour really suits the 911 lines

Today’s aim was to get the bare shell back on its wheels...

Thanks

Hi Alan
that car seems very reasonable for for all the work put into it , how can the car be purchased as a project ,the new parts bought , the car restored and sold all for the price it was advertised at?
yours Bill.

Hi,

Just wanted to update this car's thread

This 2.2T is now almost done. Just a few more parts to fit and the suspension to adjust, and then off for MOT.

Thanks

Alan

Thanks for the kind words.

Engine pic: Sorry the quality of the pics is not great. The zenith carbs were rebuilt, SSI and new exhuast fitted, hydraulic tensioners fitted and exterior parts detailed but bar that it is all original.

Thanks again

so as a very rough guestimate, was do you think the RHD 911 2.4 will sell for when it's restored?

by Alan @ CanfordClassics
Hi,

Until I have fully stripped the RHD 2.4 the final price is hard to determine, but I do know we will be doing a full resto on this car. It will a have full engine and gearbox rebuild, full body strip and fitted with all new/refurbished parts. As this car has a full stamped service history back to day one I think this car deserves to be returned to its full former glory.
