How about a teeny tiny ally threaded plug? The oil in the pic is not a result of the plug failure, something far worse.

Im building this at the moment and took this yesterday

Im leaving the original filter on it,the reason? well its only a bypass filter and filters bugger all really,you can remove it all and place a couple of plugs in the system,also the factory alu cooler is more than enough for cooling with the extra oil in the spin off filter.
If you go remote,make sure its level or below oil in sump line!
