Tape measure out. As it is a US car, 26" front, and 27" rear, floor to bottom of wheelarch going through centre of wheel. Is that tall? I was expecting US cars to be about an inch taller than a UK car, and so that makes a UK car 25" and 26" which sounds about right...

On level ground, the measurement fom the ground to the centre of the wheelarch (highest point) for a standard lwb car is:

25.5 in - front
25.0 in - rear

I don't know if the corresponding measurements for a swb are any different.

As far as I'm aware, there was no difference between US & ROW ride height until much later - after the introduction of the impact bumper models - I think ~ 1976.

finally I see my 7R's on the car ! well done Julian.
Hope you can figure out what tire to use.
I checked with mine and 205/60/R15 where mounted on the 7R's before.

but I know you can put wider tires on there, but as you mentioned swb has no flares.

good luck !
