That pre A looks great and not a bad price in todays market. If I was looking for a project I would be right on this one.
Many thanks

Hi All
Many many thanks for all your replies, I was in LA last wk and went along to European Collectables, some great pics which i will try an upload, i do think it is a bit of a chop shop though.
I think at that price i will keep looking for the moment.
Thanks

Hello

, I live in berlin and I've seen the blue A last time I went to the shop.
its for sale since a while, comes from south africa. I haven't inspected the engine compartment and the interior unfortunately as doors where closed and the seller not around. I could go again if someone's interested. But......
The car didn't make such a good impression I have to say.
-few details are not original on the car.
-undercarriage looks smooth and clean as well as the batterybox floor but a fresh underseal has been sprayed recently
-Fender edges are thick

possibly with bondo (no rolled edge there)
-rust bubbles at the bottom of the doors and in front of the doors
-paint somewhat shinny but some dents and scratches
-Gaps are acceptable except the bottom of the doors
Hope this helps
Alex

thanks Alex for the extra info I agree it's a nice car and well worth looking at..
European Collectables I have heard some interesting stories from there. Ask Dave Ren about European Collectables. Esp their customer care!!!
I don't normally say anything about companies on the whole.( only my own expericences so which there has been some bad ones with so called experts.. ) But when it comes to EC then I have a veiw point. They are brokers on the whole, they do, do resto's and they involve lots of Filler!!

I know of a good body guy who is about 3 blocks from them and has done some work for them in the past.. mainly undoing what they have done I know I have seen it and spoken to him.....
Off my soap box now..
