I know of a RHD Cabriolet we did a few years ago,and I restored the first RHD 356 sold by AFN many years ago, that was a '54 now in Australia I think.
Are you sure it was a '54. According to Jenks' book about AFN the first car they sold was 60277 which is a '53 (and 20 chassis numbers before mine). Would like to know more about that car though.
As to other PreAs, the only other ones I have seen aren't running at the moment.

Mark... two more I know of, both atterly shugged but both '53s. I do a lot of publishing for some of the bigger houses around Norfolk and one's just opened it's garages to me. Pics not allowed yet but as soon as i've got her ear i'll get some pro shots done and a swift bark-rubbing over the VINs. They're definitely not for sale but also aren't going anywhere either unless it's my trailer supporting their weight
I was thinking of waiving my copyright on the next book project there in exchange for 'those dirty old cars in the corner m'Lady'.
You never know...

Cubical can you get VIn numbers and details I am looking to start to build the 356 register site I don't think i will add the numbers for public use but will list them for data collection and getting better idea's of how many out there..
Should be able to start my 356 Reigster for the UK with about 40 cars.

Cubist, you know you don't need TWO '53s. Let me take one off your hands when you get them, you know you want to.
And it's been over 6 months since I last bought one.......

Sorry, its been a while since Ive seen the car,the chassis number was 51552,bought by Ted Wolley and extensivly raced throughout its life, came over with two other RHD cars, this was the first one sold,We found it by chance being lifted by a chain through its windows being dumped in a skip at AFN,we stopped them, and restored it!
If we had not been there that day,it would have gone.
For some reason Export56 have been offering it for sale for a long time now, they have a picture of it on there home page, reg number 3581H,also there is a picture of a Ivory 356 spinning at Goodwood I think? in Jenk's book, thats the same car.

Wow! Looks like you did a fantastic job from what sounds like quite a wreck.
You mentioned a RHD cabriolet as well?

I have a lot more pictures somewhere, though I will have to scan them, its got a late gearbox and engine, late brakes and many other mods, the interior is stunning, one of the best I have done,oh and I restored that probably 8-10 years ago, when I was in my early 20's!!
