It was all a bit of a mix up really. I thought that mine was missing the whole trim and so spent ages looking for one. Eventually bought one off of ebay.com only to then realise that it was actually ON my car, just not padded and trimmed with anything! Bolted the other one on anyway seeing as it was already trimmed and it looks so much better. Means I have a spare untrimmed one if anyone needs one...

Fitting it was just a case of undoing the four nuts behind the bottom of the dash and then it just pulls straight off. Pretty easy with a small socket attached to an angle socket and 1/4 inch wratchet. When I finally get an engine back in the car and it emerges into the light, I'll post an updated pic of the finished trim.

thanks for that Martin. My car is due to be back with me soon after the accident repair and hopefully will get cracking with that job when its back.

One off and another on in half an hour - even with the partly seized nuts on the back. I can't believe how much better it looks!
