Seems a shame to just have it sat there. Wouldn't it be better with a VW engine in, slammed to the floor and the minimum of titvation to get it through it's MOT. Would really annoy some PCGB members if you took something like that to Heddingham! 8)
Or is it reeeeeeeeally bad?

No - it's far from bad: good sills/outriggers/floors etc just a bit of soft nose n/side accident damage but nothing that a fencepost and some chain couldn't sort out pretty effectively... but it's never been restored or hacked about and it'll be the next owner that blows their overdraft on it not me. It's low down on a full list of other toys that need too much care and attention. I'm in no rush to get it rolling again - spend too much on my A, hookers and Morrocan to leave any spare for it. But hey... if Rusty Tubs can offload their geriatric scrap i'll certainly get a good price for this one someday. I've managed to keep the original plate on retention since the MoT ran out in march '94

Mark - the next project is even more hideuos than the Trekker and a whole lot rarer too (which should be fun lowered on some tasty 17" wide 5 rims that just happen to be stacked in the garage already...)

The right direction but wrong continent! Kubel's been done too... but this is rarer still and will mug off a lot of 'elbow patchers' on thesamba
