Californian car imported into UK in February 2002 and is fully UK registered with me being the second owner in UK.

The car was fully restored back in USA in 1998 ( I have folders of receipts and photos of what was done. The gearbox was changed for the later sideshift gearbox which is 5 speed.

• It has a new clutch fitted about 1000 miles ago.
• Stainless steel heat exchangers
• Bursch Sports exhaust
• Fully reconditioned rear disc callipers
• Totally restored battery tray area which is the Achilles heal of all Porsche 914’s
• Has the desirable centre consol with working gauges.
• Pinestriping by neil melliard this year at VW action

David,
Apologies for hijacking your advert, but at least it's keeping it at the top of the forum.
I think it could be the tacky 70's fablon dash that is holding you back  .

Jon sorry to say but thats not fablon covering its real wood and not done by me but when it was still in the states. There is a plaque on the glove box that has the name of the restorer.

I do have the correct basket weave material on a roll to correct the wooden dash, will throw in with the car.
