Love a 914 with a kick ass motor in, specially when it's only a couple a miles away from my house. Looks like mid-Wales is becoming quite the hotbed of racing 914's. Are you going to race it? if so what series? or is it just gonna be a hot road toy. Would love to see it in the flesh one day

Time for another update on this one - I had problems with the rings not bedding in on the 3 litre , trailing plumes of smoke everywhere I went
I had a 3.2 short - stroke doing nothing , so I have now put that in the car - with a set of 46mm. PMO's
I have decided to use this car as transport to Lemans this June - so time for a better paint job.
This is going t obe another race car copy - so while the cars in bits , I decided to fit a lightweight boot and bonnet - superb items sourced at short notice from Barry Martin at Martin + Walker.
Anyway - this is where we are at now ...................

Mark, That was my car for 14 years, I sold it to Andy. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures here( do I need a certain amount of posts before I can post pictures?), I will give you a visual history of the car
all the best,

I remember seeing this car in blue on 914club/world (when it was all one site)
T.C. haven't you got an original six you're restoring at present? I'm sure we'd be interested in seeing the pics also.
To post pics you need to link to them, so an account with photobucket or similar. Then paste the link between the opening + closing [img]****[/img] tag.
Or mail the pictures to me and I'll host them and mail you back the links

Hi James, I will set up a photo account, probably Flicker.
Yes I have a 19,000 mile Factory 914-6 that is being restored that I have the original motor, but will be running a 2.8 Litre Twin-Plug. I also have a Steel-Roof 914-6.
