Probably not a bad thing because it does mean the car should be properly set up before it is used seriously, but still very frustrating.

No matter - with reports like yours I am sure there will be more DDK interest for another trip.

It was me and Helen (think I only told you my user name . . very rude sorry). Fantastic array of machines at Spa. . . hope you sorted out your knocking noise.

We pushed off at about 3:30 and got to Amsterdam that evening (more Porsches at Zandvoort the following morning) . . . in my little TT. Over the week we took in Reims, Monte Carlo, Spa, Nurburgring (4 laps) and Zandvoort and a few mountain passes along the way (including Stelvio) . . . excellent trip. Scariest bit of the trip was my bonnet coming undone exiting the carrousell at the ring!!
