it was late & i was bloody knackered last night, that part number above is for the tie rod, the part number of the parts I need is 901.341.047.00 - that's the bloody expensive bottom ball joint.

Hope you get it sorted. On a side note the LWB ball joints are not all the same, the pre 72 ones use a bolt and nut and the later ones a pin and nut. The indent on the ball joint differs for each.

I ended up buying them for £90 each +vat from Euros fitted them this afternoon too, no kissing needed just a little sweet talking ...£90 each +vat from Euros

do you have a supplier from abroad? I was told that Lemforder in the UK only sell to OPC (who then sell them for £101 +vat)

price of 85 was from euro !!! it was the best price i could find on an instant delivery , as i knew you had a deadline .

pity gsf dont sell them ........ we used to get massive discounts when you play them against one another !!!

european stuff tends to get through customs ok , but items from usa tend to get "grabbed" , though i know a few tricks to avoid this
2 dollars per pound makes it the right time to buy !!

yeah I've been there as well when the front end of one of my Golfs was pinched from on the street during broad daylight

thats what i used to do ..... tune golfs that is , not steal bitsoff them !!
