Oh balls... I bought a bushing kit from Design911 today (they are only up the road). I guess I will just leave the old one in there; the pedals still feel pretty good - it's just the brake pedal which is sticking. I guess the LHD assembly uses the same bushes for the brake pedal as the RHD kit?

Thanks for the help everyone! What a great forum.

Brendan - it appears we have in common two cars and one hard drive. Nice.

An update on the brakes...

I fitted new bushes to the pedal assembly. Pelican parts suggested it was a simple procedure... on LHD cars. The cross-linkages of my RHD made it a complete and utter ballache.

The kit I bought from Design911 did the job OK - I only replaced the brake pedal and clutch bushings as the accelerator ones were too small. The brake pedal moved very sweetly, so I took the car for a spin.

The pedal worked, but the car was pulling to one side. As I got back to the garage, the pedal hit the floor and the car would not stop (!). Turns-out the NSF caliper assembly bolts were all loose and fluid was gushing out of the gaps! I opened it up, cleaned it all and reassembled. Also did the other three, which were also all loose (I'd like to meet the mechanic who did that work in the first place - really, really dangerous!).

I fitted new braided hoses to the fronts. The car seems to stop very well now, although it's not great having come from a run of servo-assisted cars. Maybe fit a 19mm Master Cylinder at a later date.

I also got my indicators, brake lights and headlights working, so now it's time for an MOT!

Thanks for your help guys.
