well, it only seems to be black at the picture on my page - but that's only a shadow
I've other pics from exactly the same event where you can see the tan/orange interior

but - it's a fact that the car doesn't have the original colour
it's currently gemini blue metallic
originally it was dark blue with red front bumper and Cibies on the front hood
I have photos from the first owner, but I'm not allowed to share them - so please don't ask for ... sorry

So how original is it? The seller claims:

Duncan Blue....... all original paint except hood¸ rear bumper. Gusti says it's gemini blue metallic

original 2.7 RS spec engine  Where did the 2.7RS motor come from? Manipou?

well - to be honest, I've never heared about a colour called "Duncan blue"
of course it *could* be Duncan blue - if this would look very similar to Gemini blue
there's no proof from me about this question

but it's absolutely correct, that this car should have a 2.7 L engine
it should be identical in specifications to the 911 Carrera RS engine
if it's still the original engine it has to be number 6325027

Thanks for the insight. It could have been Dalmation Blue?

I just got answer from the seller of the car

he told me that he's not really sure about the name of the colour :P

I wonder if it will reach the reserve

still the starting day of the auction and the bids raised up to $75,100

do you mean dunkelblau, although i think that's somewhat darker?

well, as I wrote before - the car originally was painted dark blue

dunkelblau (german) = dark blue (english)

but the current paint looks like gemini blue metallic (at least to me)
