Went to the Classic Restoration Show at the NEC yesterday.
Looking through some books and found this gem for £10 brand new.

Disappointed me and mine are not in the book but I didn't do many shows, drove it instead!

For anyone who was there in the early Hot Rod days in the UK, this book is for you!

Been told today Santa Pod has bee resurfaced and up-dated!

It most certainly has - the entire track surface was dug up and relaid, plus a whole lot more...

Been going back for the odd meeting for years.
Even the wife (quite) likes it all until the AA class runs (Top Fuel?).
My daughter thinks it's wonderful. She will be going there soon with her new husband in their '68 Bay Window, then to Le Mans if it makes it...

I stood on the old banks in 1971/72 and it felt the same in 2017, what a place.
