As well as fitting the correct engine to diverter oil pipe
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=52301 , I also fitted a new fuel filler cap seal
I noticed the old one was cork(?) and the new (OPC) one is a rubber/plastic type material.
At least now I don't have to worry about bit of cork falling into the fuel tank.

Simply took the 911 out locally to see if the Rennshifter 'shifts' perfectly, it does, not a crunch or a bulk ever in a 100 or so fast/slow/hesitant gear changes.
3.2 is a wonderful engine in 1000Kg.
Secondly, to see if this car will re-ignite my '911' mojo which has dulled to near extinction.
Not sure about this which is not good, not sure about the 911 'thing' anymore.

Drove on Saturday from Daventry to Blackburn and back to watch William race the English Schools
Unfortunately the engine is running a little hot. Cruising at 70+ (ish) 3k rpm but the temperature moving towards 240F. Time to go back and check everything. I just ordered a new rotor arm from PRS.
At least William came away with a Team Bronze, for Surrey, in the senior schools race and he still has another year to try and better himself.
The course was not for faint hearted. 3 x time up this beast of a hill.
