Yes - drag racing is the only motorsport in which its use is allowed. Shame, because a shot of nitrous coming out of the hairpin at Wiscombe would be very beneficial!

Now back to the rear and mount the Accusump reservoir. Will do the plumbing once the engine's in place (and yes I will align the clamps properly)...

You are, but it’s probably slower in a 914 with the “air brake” exposed………
Also, you have to remember to bring your goggles or helmet visor.

In that case I think the bonnet and boot deserve a matching lightweight targa top!

More for cooling than anything else by helping transfer heat out from the oil to the sump.
