I replaced the front suspension bushes, put turbo tie rods on, fitted new brake discs, wheel bearings and pads on the 914
All in one day. I'm knackered!! And cold
Rear suspension bushes on weds and then onto the engine...

Good work! I hope you were shelter from the elements. It wasn't a great w/e to be working outside.

Amongst other things, fitted new ITG filters to my Jenvey ITBs - specially made to give more of an old school look.

That was good going....can tell you it took a heck of a lot longer to do the same at the rear on mine.
Trust you got the right tie rods in the end

Oil change and tappets done on Friday .
Up early this morning and out for a run . Had a hankering for some nice Wensleydale cheese so set off to to Hawes via a very scenic route . Any excuse to get out despite the shitty weather

I was out for about five hours altogether despite the crappy weather , Really enjoyed myself .

O sometimes go to the local vscc meeting first Saturday in the month so went today got there early! it's next week! had a nice ride out and back in time to do some other jobs.

Great story Russ, 5 hours round trip to buy cheese and kippers, in a classic 911 race car, in February.

Today was like a spring day here (West Mids) so soon all the salt will be gone and some mid week runs to Wales planned.
It is good taking early retirement!
