Spent a whole 30 minutes making a new bench

Got bored trying to polish these frames on my other small bench.

It folds up out the way so can still get a car in.

a) Make sure the retaining strap holds it up really well, you do not want it falling on that new paintwork!

b) How long before she realises half her kitchen worktop has gone!

it’s got a gate bolt screwed to the wall at the top so it’s (hopefully!) not going anywhere!

Worktop was being chucked out by a neighbour, proper solid wood so I’m still working out what to do with that last bit! Probably cut it up into a lifetime supply of chopping boards

Time to dig into the the dusty time capsule in the corner of the garage. It’s not magically cleaned itself over the last 3 years, which is disappointing.

But its free from grinding dust and still turns over freely so happy about that!

What is the plan of approach Gary?

Suspension, loom, lines, roof lining then that big bit?

Loom, lines, interior trim and then big greasy bits!

I dug the fully built struts and trailing arms out today and scraped some of the filth off… other than a wipe they are going back on as they are.
I just won’t post pictures of those bits

I can’t describe how happy I am with it, I really don’t want to assemble it, it just needs framing.

The gaps and light lines are SO good.
