Swap'd the flasher units on my early cars, I had been doing the wiring on the 72 car and had strange things with hazard lights and flashers! all good on the 72 car now and strange things with flashers on 71 car now! New flasher unit required.

Damn that looks cool

Popped along to the Pistonheads Sunday Service at Goodwood before dropping boy #1 off at work in Chichester. There was a dissapointingly small turn out of classics, although plenty of modern Porsches. I spent a few minutes chatting to a nice old chap who'd been a trader a few years ago, and told be about all the 2.7RSs he'd had through his hands when everyone wanted a red IB with a whale tail.

I just won the auction on some great looking door pockets on eBay. Yay. Now I can finally finish the car!!

Oh, and I bought a carcoon and a dehumidifier. Think I might work from home tomorrow so I can put it up

Impressed with the Carcoon Veloce so far - it really is easy to put up and well convenient with the frame. And plenty of room in there too.

A purchased a couple of these to place inside the car when it's not being used to absorb moisture..... http://pingi.com/product/pingi-car-dehu ... r-lv-a150/ ....recharge them microwave every few weeks, they seem to do a decent job.

drove to Tower Porsche and dropped my car off for the std speedo to be swapped out for a 180mph one (on assumption it worked)

went for lunch at The Don (ex port cellars of the Sandeman family) with my ex boss, not bad for a Monday

returned to Tower to find job done and it did indeed work. 30mins labour about the same as 3 hours parking in the City

a v small detail but another finishing touch that i'll notice every time I drive it

they had a potentially lovely but neglected 73T in royal purple in there… apparently gets parked in the open and driven once a year

a proper aladdins cave that place (Druid St just off Tower Bridge Rd for any Londoners)

The DON ........used to be the private dining room of a very large money broker way back ..........always had difficulty getting up the stairs with the rope in the middle !

F****d around with wiring the throttle position sensor and then discovered the ECU isn't getting a signal from the crank position sensor... Why didn't I just use carbs and a distributor?

At least Sarah's PC laptop now reads the system. Trouble is, the computer says no...
