I thought we always assumed we were looking at the engine with the fan facing towards us when discussing left bank & right bank ?

On Saturday/Sunday fitted some gauge light bulbs sold to me by Andy. Much easier to fit then I imagined. Lit bonnet, undo carpet, pulled bulb from the back of the gauge and change for new bulb!
On Sunday took some of the family back to Euston Station. We managed to fit Mrs B, Jasmin, Ellie and Belle (the dog) into the 912. As I walked to pick up the car it was raining and hailing but duriing the drive it was sunny and dry!

Just got back from a round trip of over 18 hours…left 3:00AM this morning, travelled over 860 miles, used over 90 of fuels, took in England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and finally Germany, met some Porsche royalty who bunked me in to Techno Classica, had a 45 minute scoot around the halls and then headed home!….....all to buy a fuel tank!

Also met Eric Linden who came along with Marek to show me the way in, now he travelled farther than me!.....although I think he was staying longer than an hour!

Having seen a couple in the for sale section recently I got my 1976 owned from new low mileage 934 out of long term storage ready for a sympathetic recommisioning

Sorry I forgot to say it's the 1/12 scale Tamiya RC version, I have the matching vintage McGregor RC gear somewhere, just need to get some batteries.

Just fitted a nice balsa type of 917 gear knob from Chris at Fellane to my 73T big shift lever to compliment the Nardi Wheel, looks a real treat and only £45!
Just the silencer to do now and the car will be 'softened' for the road but can be revised quickly if I want to hillclimb it again.
