I have a similar respirator. I still haven't worked out how to deal with the beard and glasses though...?

Spring time may bring clean shaves and contact lenses...

I shaved the lockdown beard, and I’ve one good eye so can do without the glasses!

Completed it! Including the engine bay.

What a mess it is. Mainly on the floor

It’s got a generous coat (or two) and I’m happy there’s no bare steel anywhere. Painting the inner lip of the arch is difficult as my gun is too big.

I’m going to buy a mini gun and do this area again as it’s so critical before doing the Raptor, even though I’ve already brushed it.

Next job is the luggage bay, but I’ll need to get some more epoxy as my gun settings seem to have gone from ‘spot dusting’ to ‘absolutely layer it on’ and it’s whipped though a good litre and half today.

Scuffing is the worst bit of anything to do with paint, 911 or skirting boards..

Good luck with cleaning the floor, mine is due it's annual wipe-n-polish with cellulose thinners, the only stuff that works.

Looking good Gary. Have you plugged the holes or are you going to run a tap through all the threads?

All plugged and suspension mounts masked after the first coat. Probably going to run a tap anyway just to make assembly easier.

The end result on Jamie’s car was great but no way that’s happening.
Can’t wait to get the Raptor on then I can build it back up and think about green.

Oh. Just remembered I need to clean up and paint that bare steel wing sitting in the spare room... boo.
