Ruf made Porsches in the late 70's & 80's offering the old feel of a 911, while the factory were trying to kill off the 911, and replace with 928 total bonkers. I hear the factory are not cooperating with Ruf as before ?

If my memory serves me correct, Hot Car did a chopped Rover P5 coupe in Blue with Mag wheels ? I remember the MotorSport article in 73/74 on Autofarm in B/W a small picture in the middle of a white early 911 with text around it, I prefered reading Motor Sport to "Willy the shake" prose ?

John was at a bonfire night fireworks do at Chorley Wood in Hertfordshire where he used to live. A firework went off in his face, blinding him in one eye when he was a nipper. My ex-brother in law Ron was there at the same bonfire.
