That is looking sweeeeet. You must be so pleased with how this is coming together...When does it get the business end fitted?

Big thanks Richard, glad you like it :)

The car is currently with Redtek and I was hoping the business end would get fitted last week....but then hopefully this coming week, or maybe the week after! :? ......at the moment it's still going through final assembly, fitting of the shroud etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.....

Image

....bad weather and delayed racing in the Isle of Man means Gary probably won't get back until Thursday and he still has a few things to do but hopefully the car will be ready in 3 weeks or so.

But then I'm ready to pounce!........the beautifully bling number plates purchased from Tippers yonks ago (don't know what I was thinking! ) have been replaced with simpler lightweight vinyl......

.....just itching to stick these on and drive! :bounce: .......

Image

Soon!

A quick visit to Redtek today to catch up on (lack of!) progress....

....alas I'm well down the pecking order at Redtek and the guys are so busy that any thoughts of actually fitting my engine are a mere glimmer in Nick's eye! :( .....

.....for the moment the Mongrel hides undercover, unmoved and unloved, embarrassed by its lack of bite!....

Image

....still, it was nice to have a play with my engine, bolting things on to visualise how it'll look when finished 8) ....

Image

....Hedingham?......I'm kinda relieved I'm unable to go to Spa......now that would have been desperate! :? ...

Cheers,

It was great to catch up with the Metal Meister Mr Carter at the weekend who presented me with a disc of over 900 photos of my body build.......going through the early pics was worse than a scary movie! .......albeit with a very happy ending! :)

BC also presented me with this rather splendid gift, can't wait to fit them 8) .....

...huge thanks Barry :)

900 pictures!

Great to have.
You must be close to final fit-up and running soon or the weather will be against you!
