Yeh come on, I'm lying in my wanking chariot, in the middle of the North Sea, I need something to keep me going.

You guys......
OK no colour today - Neil prepped the two rear quarters and the front bumper, and primed them. I'd managed to put filler on top of primer (d'oh!) so Neil took that off and sorted it out.
Colour tomorrow!
Tonight I cleaned up the door handles, and headlights. Also popped the bolts into the bonnet and boot lid ready for fitting.
Today I also bought about 40 bulldog clips ready for Saturday's headlining fitting.
This weekend should be busy but good

Excellent! I've two driveshafts to rebuild and I'm done for CLM
Compared to you I think the rest of us are feeling a bit pathetic with our pre Le Mans jobs!

COLOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic moment! I've been sat at work all day wondering where we'd got to
Neil has spent most of the day finishing the prep of the shell - tiny bits here and there. By the time I came home it was almost ready - primed and then flatted down with 2000 grit - the primer looked a bit like topcoat!
Just been out to the park to walk the dogs with Suzanne - we could hear the extractor fan a couple of streets away - sounds like a jet engine taxi-ing down the road. Turned into the drive and saw the picture above. Fantastic stuff!
Tomorrow return the hired extractor fan/jet engine, tidy up the inside, crack on with the headlining with Ians help, then Neil's going to come back and help me hang the doors
Sunday going to focus on getting all the panels on

That is going to look soooo coool, Mark.
I'd often see you on my morning commute, coming the opposite direction down the A60....even before I bought my car....loved the 'vintage racer' look to the Silver with orangey-red stripe...looked great amongst the background noise of all the moderns around you.
I look forward to spotting your 'new' 911 blatting through Ravenshead of a morning!
