It's not as big as it looks - it's quite narrow. I'm not complaining though and should end up with space for 2 cars or more if I install a car lift

It's surprising how much space a car lift uses up once you leave enough room around it to work ...........

Yes, I haven't quite lived there the last few months - the Boss doesn't allow me to have a kettle or a fridge out there, figuring if I had coffee and beer available she would NEVER see me.
Car work stopped at lockdown, but I have done all of the joinery work to rebuild and strengthen the storm-damaged wooden tandem garage, built my own work-bench, and completed 3 other garden based joinery jobs to generate much-needed Brownie points.
Next project is to dismantle and remove the old swimming pool, re-instate the site, and get it ready for climbing frame etc to keep Grand-children amused while I can then hopefully get the jobs done on both cars so that I can get out to play again next season!

I will be installing a flush scissor lift in the floor so that shouldn’t impede on space.

What I meant by car lift was one of those car storage ones where you can store 2 or 3 on top of each other. Unlikely to happen to be honest.

And Chris, yes I moved house a month ago - new place has lots of outbuildings. Happy as a pig in sh*t. Currently setting up a woodworking room to make the cabinets for the car barn. But both need a bit of re-roofing before that can happen

Not your typical Porsche owners garage but its all mine. If it cant be done in here, it probably isnt worth doing.
