Thanks Nige

Andy - that sounds like a plan - how hard can it be? We'll all be below decks with the cars anyway - making sure that Darren's car manages to bump everyone else's door

Aha - Neil's photos are better than mine - he may have had some natural light coming in

I've been training tonight so didn't get in until 7:30 - the. Took the bonnet and boot lid straight up to eldest daughters bedroom (she's away at moment)

Then thought I'd put the grill on. Of course when you pick it off the bench it's all dirty and dusty, so I spent a while cleaning up all the nuts and bolts etc - none of this concours shite - just wire brushing the dirt off

I really wanted to put the badge on and the silver letters but I'm only going to have to take them off again when the vinyls go on so I resisted the temptation. I'll have to take the grill off then as well but you've got to have a bit of fun haven't you

Ella's duvet is perfect for keeping the bonnet safe

Grill on!

Love the colour Mark. Will look great with stripes.

Fitting the engine lid is much easier with the grille out as well. Put the bolts in finger tight, close the lid and then move it around before nipping up the bolts when you're happy with the position.

Much easier than trying to guess it and then jamming the lid closed (which I've done before and is a pain in the arse).

Wot he said, don't fit the grill until you have the lid fitted to the car and the latch releasing properly.

Looking cool.
