Oil tank - 1972 MY

Post by 23e Heure »

Rather than attempt further fibreglass repairs on my slightly leaky oil tank, it's time I installed another one, sans pinholes!
I know the tanks for this MY are harder to find than others...

James - Russell Ward had one recently - don't know if he's still got it but may be worth a call:

Thanks for the pointer Andy, but Russell has already sold that one.

Luke - show the dog the rabbit!
Otherwise, I had thought about getting one fabricated - would be cheaper to have more than one made of course - Andy did you get your leak fixed, or did you get a replacement tank?

Well spotted Alan, thanks.
Have PMed the seller - wonder how much shipping and import duty will add to the costs...

That lead seems to have gone dead - several US based pelican people PMing the guy,
and no repy to my PM...

So was wondering if anyone has any leads on where I could get a tank made?
New ones are eye wateringly expensive :cyclopsani:

<bump>
Still no joy on sourcing a tank.
Anyone hears of one, do let me know.
Cheers!

James - I've sent him a pm in case you don't see this straight away.
