Nick,
Thanks for the reply.
I have papers in front of me now from late '78 and '79 showing the KUP 406J registration.
Are DVLA always reliable ?
I knew I might have trouble with the earlier plate,DLM 911J,but the later plate is /was certainly a valid one.
Are there any other sources to find such things out ?
Cheers,
Dennis.

Spoke to the owner of JAZ in Wembley recently Steve? if I remember correctly. He assures me that he now owns the Elford 2.2 - 2.4 conversion car.
BTW I bought a RHD '70T with full 2.2S upgrades recently. Not the real Mckoy I know but Mien Gott it does fly when you get it wound up!
At 5,6,7 grands it is hard to believe it is only a tad over 2 litres. I see what all the fuss is about!!!

Thanks for all the extra info. I will spend some time this week to update the list and also investigate these and some other RHD 2.2S leads.
Thanks again
Alan

RHD 2.2
Hi Alan
Came across your thread re rhd 2.2S's. I bought a signal orange car from Denmark just before Christmas. 3 previous owners 58k miles probably because it's been in a museum for the past few years. It had been used as a race car in Denmark before that as it has Danish historic vehicle FIA paperwork. Good engine but will need a body job to make perfect. Next time you're near Basingstoke let me know and I'll show you around it.
07887 658919 or 01256 471690 I don't know if you'll remember me but I bought a set of deep dishes from you maybe 18 months ago

Hi Steve,
How are you? I would love to meet up the next time I am around that area and also see your new car. But also feel free to pop down here again. I do have a note some where about a RHD 2.2S in Denmark so it must be the same car. I think I already have the vin but just in case can you send it to me. It sounds like great car. The body resto on my 2.2S is about to commence and I will try and start a new resto thread.
Did you use those Deep 6s?
Thanks
Alan

Hi Alan
A few pictures of my car here
http://bookatrack.com/-pg?3245
Thanks for the offer of a look around your car I'd like to take you up on it within the next couple of weeks.
VIN is 9110300867
I sold the wheels by the way, probably a mistake as I'm eventually going to have to get the ones currently fitted refurbished but they don't look too bad for now. I was lucky in that it came with it's complete original interior and a spare set of deep sixes.

Hi Steve,
Great pics, I would love to see some more
does it have the original motor? do you have the motor number?
You are welcome to pop down anytime. I will have my 71 3.2 and a RHD 73 targa (being restored) here for you to look at but my 70 RHD s shell is being welded, but I will have a new project here. It's another RHD (1971)2.2S
but needs ALOT of work.
Cheers
Alan
