I'm surprised that driving with you hasn't put him off for lifehot66 wrote:Tony, my passenger, had never been in a Porsche .... he is thinking of buying a 911 now

It is looking great, thank you. I will definitely come at Le mans Classic 2007.
As you seem to be pretty well backed by DDK members, can I ask to tip me on apparently good buying opportunities from DDK forum or others?
Waiting forward to hearing soon of you?

P.S. Are there areas in Europe where you definitely wouldn't buy classic 911? Like in South Italy? I have been visiting a restorator and mecchanics there that are said to be impressively competent, skilled i mean.
A friend of mine brought me to visit his 2,7 RS project there, and from what I saw, I really looked superb. I have loads of photos. Moreover, a relative of them is selling his 1965 912. I could buy it, but I can't figure out whether it is crap or in mint condition! The asking price is incredibly high: 25.000€ already negociated from 32.000€. The problem is that the owner doesn't want to ship the car to me, even though they know me well, and that I offered to support all transport costs.
Besides, I have good contact with porsche renowned mecchanics in Monaco. One of them is willing to join me in an ultime voyage in order to take a decision. Before driving back to Napoli, chassis, engine, gearbox n° + Original Porsche Authenticity Certificate are going to be inspected by Porsche Service department in France.
How does it all sounds to you?
Thank you in advance.
