Post by smac »

Any tips on how to get at the top allen key bolt that holds the starter on? I find I dont have enough joints in my fingers wrist and forearm! Oh its an 88 3.2.

Thanks

Well I acheived the impossible I dropped the gearbox cross member and anti roll bar which allowed me to get an allen key in the top which I could then turn with a 10 mm spanner. Doddle , only took say 12 hours.

Assume yours is a G50, lower the engine and box as a unit, ie just the rear mounts on atrolley jack-you can't do it otherwise-takes 45 minutes. If a 915 bring hand in from the otherside ie middle of the car-its easy then -Transend
